Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko anime reveals its first trailer

The official site for the anime adaptation of the series of light novels written by Roy and illustrated by Ririnra, Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko published the first promotional video and image.


The series is a co-production with Funimation and is slated to premiere in the fall season this year.

Roy began publishing the novels on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in 2015, and is still in publication. Publishing Hobby Japan began publishing the paper novels with illustrations by Ririnra in September 2017.

Ranran began publishing a manga adaptation in Square Enix's Gangan Online magazine in November 2017. The publisher published the fourth compilation volume last October.

  • Takeyuki Yanase (Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni) is in charge of directing the anime at Maho Film studios.

Synopsis of Kami-tachi nor Hirowareta Otoko

Under the protection of the gods, your laid back life with slimes begins!

One day, the life of a middle-aged Japanese man named Ryoma Takebayashi comes to a spontaneous and disappointing end. Ryoma was never graceful in his life, but after death, three gods requested his cooperation and reincarnated him as a boy in a world of swords and magic.

Receiving a cordial and divine welcome from the gods themselves, Ryoma decides to live in a relaxed way in the forest for the time being. Working diligently to hunt and learn magic, his greatest passion becomes ... training slimes?
