Jirou Kouno (Akira, Megalobox) will serve as an instructor at the school. The first term is scheduled to take place between April and September 2021. Those who graduate from high school in Japan in March 2021 or anyone between the ages of 18 and 25 with a high school education certificate may enroll.

The school will also have a subsidy system for students, giving them a total of 100,000 yen (approximately $ 930) monthly to cover their needs.

Between 2005 and 2011, Sunrise Studios also had an animation school, created with the aim of training promising youngsters in the traditional animation techniques of the studios. Early graduates have already worked in the animation industry, such as Se Jun Kim (who worked on Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative character design) and Yuuhei Murota (who participated as a character designer in the Love Live! Franchise). Sunrise Studios re-opened this school in 2018.
