Jujutsu Kaisen exceeds 4.5 million copies in circulation

The manga series written and illustrated by Gege Akutami, Jujutsu Kaisen, is reported to have exceeded 4.5 million copies in circulation.


Akutami began publishing the manga in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in March 2018, and the work currently has a total of eleven compilation volumes. The manga is available for free through Shueisha's Manga Plus digital platform.

The play is inspiring an anime adaptation slated to premiere next October. Mappa studios are in charge of animation under the direction of Sunghoo Park and scripts written by Hiroshi Seko.

Synopsis of Jujutsu Kaisen

Yuuji Itadori is a high school student with exceptional physical abilities. Every day, as a routine, he goes to the hospital to visit his sick grandfather and decides to join the institute's occult club so as not to give a stick to the water ... However, one day the seal of the talisman that was hidden in his institute it breaks, and monsters begin to appear. Faced with this turn of events, Itadori decides to enter the institute to save his classmates. What will fate hold for you?
