Ongaku no Jikan 22/7 smartphone game released in Japan

On May 27, the Aniplex company launched the 22/7 smartphone game Ongaku no Jikan in Japan, available for iOS and Android devices. The game mixes rhythm mechanics and will be holding special events commemorating its own release.


In commemoration, the game has already launched its first special event titled "Mebuki Kanaderu Hajimari no Melody," which will take place on May 29 at 6:00 p.m. (Japan Standard Time). During this event, three additional outfits will be available for three characters in the group.



On 7/22 Ongaku no Jikan

The installment will be a rhythm game developed by h.a.n.d. Inc. and distributed by Aniplex, whose plot will be developed within the Rokubanchou Academy. Furthermore, 7/22 is a multimedia project founded by Yasushi Akimoto, Aniplex and Sony Music Records, which focuses on the idol group of the same name.

The project inspired a series of short films published through the franchise's official YouTube channel, with the participation of CloverWorks studios and premiered in March 2018. However, a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios was subsequently broadcast. A-1 Pictures under the direction of Takao Abo, and released in January 2020.
