It has been announced that the light novels written by Rakuda and illustrated by Buriki, Ore wo Suki nano wa Omae dake ka yo (also known as Oresuki) will enter their plot climax from its volume # 14, scheduled for the month of June.
Additionally, it was leaked that the light novel series is, in fact, nearing completion. For his part, Rakuda began publishing the light novels in February 2016 through the Dengeki Bunko imprint of the Kadokawa publisher. The publisher published the thirteenth volume in December 2019.
The play inspired an anime adaptation released in October 2019 and produced by CONNECT studios. The series had a total of twelve episodes, and the launch of an OVA that will end the anime's story was confirmed for next May 23, although its launch event was canceled.
