On the official site for the three-member idol unit, Sora Tob Sakana, it was announced that they have decided to separate after their last concert in Tokyo, on September 6.
The group was formed in July 2014 and the current three members include Natsuka Teraguchi, 19, Fuuka Kanzaki, 18, and Mana Yamazaki, 16. The group has released five single and two albums, including "New Stranger" (opening song for Hi Score Girl), "Sasayakana Shukusai" (closing song for the second season of Danmachi) and "Flash" (opening song for the Season 2 of Hi Score Girl II).
The published statement stated the following:
We would like to inform that the Sora Tob Sakana group will be separated after the presentation on September 6. We apologize for this sudden announcement and for not being able to meet the expectations of our fans.
Since the end of last year, we had been discussing the future of the unit. As a result, we have come to the conclusion of finishing our group activities and looking for a new path. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are unable to properly thank our fans for their support thus far. So, after much comment, we decided to part until the end of this year, considering the future of each of the members.
The future of each member is undecided, but we look forward to your support in our new careers.
His latest tour, titled “Sora Tob Sakana LAST LIVE TOUR” will be performed in four cities (for a total of eight performances) in Fukuoka, Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo between June 13 and September 6}; and her latest album will be released this summer.
