New character designs were revealed on the official site for the animated film based on the spin-off novels written by Yuichiro Higashide and illustrated by NOCO, Date A Bullet.
New designs include, from left to right:
- Asami Sanada as Kurumi Tokisaki.
- Saori Oonishi as White Queen.
- Kaede Hondo as Hibiki Higoromo.
- Mariya Ise as Tsang.
- Rina Hidaka as Panie Ibusaki.
- Asami Seto as Yui Sagakure.
The film has yet to reveal a release date in theaters in Japan. For their part, the light novels written by Yuichiro Higashide and illustrated by NOCO are a spin-off from Koushi Tachibana's light novels, Date A Live. Higashide publishes them through the Fujia Shobo publisher Fantasia Bunko, and the sixth volume was published in Japan on March 19.

- Jun Nakagawa is in charge of directing the feature film at Geek Toys Studios.
- Yuichiro Higashide serves as a writer and script supervisor, and the original work is credited.
- Naoto Nakamura is in charge of character design and adaptation to animation, based on original NOCO designs.
Date A Bullet Synopsis
Hibiki Higoromo, better known as Empty, is a young amnesiac. She wakes up in a totally unknown world, where she meets Kurumi Tokisaki. Kurumi takes Empty to school. Upon arrival at school, several girls, known as semi-spirits, gather and a battle begins.
