Developer MAGES announced the development of a new video game for the Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! Franchise. (abbreviated as KonoSuba!) to be titled KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! Love for this Tempting Attire. The launch is scheduled in Japan for September 24, for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 consoles.
According to the statement, a limited edition will include an Aqua scale figure for the Nintendo Switch version and Megumin in the PlayStation 4 version, as well as a CD with the game's soundtrack. Additionally, the installment will feature the participation of other recurring characters in the series, such as Wiz, Yunyun, Chris, Sena and Vanir, and, of course, will feature voice performances by the original seiyuus of the series.
Description
The story follows the original plot of the light novels, where the protagonist Kazuma and company find a "black slab" during a mission, which has the ability to create costumes. But the discovery of this slab will only bring trouble for Kazuma's group. First, the royal prosecutor, Sena, accuses them of thieves and they are banished from the kingdom. Then they discover that the slab has a curse that "makes the opposite of your wishes come true." This turns the masochist Darkness into a ruthless sadomasochist, Megumin into the founder of a lolis alliance, and Aqua into a primitive and proper goddess. To break the curse, Kazuma must use the black slab to make costumes that meet her wishes.
