Not all orphans love living in the St. Morwald orphanage, but Earwig does. But all this changes when Bella Yaga and Mandrake arrive at St. Morwald disguised as adoptive parents. Earwig is brought to her house filled with mysterious rooms, potions, and sorcery books.
Most of the children would have fled in terror from a house like this ... but this is not the case again with Earwig who, using his own intelligence and with the help of a talking cat, will decide to show the witch who is boss there.
