The serialization of the manga written and illustrated by Kouji Kumeta, Kakushigoto, is reported to come to an end in the August issue of Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine, slated to launch on July 6. The July edition of the magazine will be launched next Saturday in Japan.
The eleventh compilation volume had already announced since March 17 that the series would end in its twelfth volume. For his part, Kumeta has published the manga in Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine since November 2015. The publisher published the eleventh compilation volume on March 17.
The play is inspiring an anime adaptation produced by Ajia-do Animation Works studios, directed by Yuuta Murano and scripts written by Takashi Aoshima, which premiered on April 2.
Kakushigoto Synopsis
The comedy manga centers on Kakushi Goto, who doesn't want his daughter, Hime Goto, to find out that he's an adult manga author. The story focuses on the daily life of the family and the comic situations that the secret entails.
