On the official site for the animated film based on the BL manga written and illustrated by Kanna Kii, Umibe no Étranger was announced that Yu Shimamura will be joining the cast of voices as Sakurako.

Kanna published the manga in Shodensha publisher OnBlue Comics magazine between April 2013 and April 2014, for a total of four chapters. For its part, the film will be released in theaters in Japan on September 11.
