Internet users reported that the Amazon company removed a large number of light novels from its sales service. The problem was detected by a Twitter user named Hiecchi, who reported that all volumes translated into English by the American publisher Yen Press for the No Game No Life light novels had been removed from the platform.
The user also noted that there are already multiple threads on Reddit referring to the sudden disappearance of countless light novel titles on Amazon. In addition, the company has refused to answer questions about the massive ban, something that was confirmed by the J-Novel Club editorial:Apparently Amazon nuked the whole #nogamenolife LNs from their site without anyone noticing it— Hiecchi (@Hi3cchi) July 9, 2020

The best part...the anime is rated between 12-16 over the whole world and has more fanservice than the LN pic.twitter.com/EztzVAU2jJ
The statement states: “Amazon content reviewers have declined to communicate the reasons for these posts' blockages, although some contacts have yielded results, leading to some titles being added again. We will continue attempts to communicate with them, although, given the times this has occurred, it is possible that it is a failure in the automatic detection of unsupported content. "You may have noticed, but this has been going on for the past 2 months, starting with a block of How NOT to Summon Volumes 6 and 10, and currently Arifureta 6, Seirei Gensouki 4, Greatest Magicmaster 5, Infinite Stratos 8 and Lazy Dungeon Master 2 are blocked.— J-Novel Club (@jnovelclub) June 24, 2020
On the other hand, the theories on the internet were not expected, and range from removals of the novels due to illustrations of volume covers not suitable for all audiences to their own content. Finally, some added that this censorship is not too surprising, given that they described Amazon as "someone who expels material from their platform simply because they do not like it."
