Kazuma Kamachi exceeds 100 novels published on the Dengeki Bunko label

Author Kazuma Kamachi was reported today to have published the second volume of the Souyaku Toaru Majutsu no Index light novels in Japan, the third part of the Toaru Majutsu no Index saga. With this volume, the author has published a total of one hundred light novels just through the Dengeki Bunko imprint of the Kadokawa publisher.


The illustrator of these novels, Kiyotaka Haimura, made a special illustration commemorating this achievement, which was published through Kazuma Kamachi's Twitter account.

Kamachi is a prolific and legendary author, who even went on to publish one novel a month between 2014 and 2016. His best-known series are Toaru Majutsu no Index and Heavy Object, which have inspired adaptations to anime. Outside of the Dengeki Bunko imprint, Kamachi published the Magistellus Bad Trip series on the Dengeki’s New Literature imprint, as well as Madou Hacker and Bishoujo Kunoichi-chan-tachi ga Sensei no Himitsu wo Nozoite Mita Kekka, through the LINE Bunko Edge imprint. Furthermore, the author has also written short novels for magazines and web novels, some of which have also inspired manga adaptations.
