During its panel at the Anime Expo Lite event, the subscription manga application for smartphones Mangamo announced that it plans to expand its service to other territories and launch a version for Android devices “in the near future”.
The Mangamo application was launched on April 15 for iOS devices and gives readers the ability to legally access manga without ads. It also has a subscription plan of $ 4.99 a month.
The application is updated with new chapters on a daily basis and users can read manga from the application from left to right or by vertical scrolling, in addition, the interface can be customized.
Mangamo is an app created by executives at Hulu, Crunchyroll, Netflix, Viz Media, and other companies, and is currently associated with eleven publishers, including Kodansha, Comicsmart, TOPPAN, and North Star Pictures.
