The first promotional video for the project was published on the official Twitter account for the anime adaptation of the videogame The World Ends With You, to be titled The World Ends With You - The Animation.
The site also published the first promotional image of this new project.
The series is scheduled for release in 2021. Jupiter and Square Enix developed the game, which was released for the Nintendo DS system in Japan in 2007, and in the West in 2008.
