Monster Rancher 2 video game will be released for Nintendo Switch and smartphones

On the official Twitter account for the KOEI Tecmo franchise, Monster Rancher (also known as Monster Farm in Japan), it was revealed that the developer will launch a port of the Monster Rancher 2 game for Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android this fall.
The launch will include new as well as better elements based on feedback from a Twitter poll. More details will be revealed in this week's issue of Weekly Famitsu magazine from Kadokawa.

For its part, Monster Rancher 2 has more than 400 monsters, and it was originally released in Japan for the PlayStation console in February 1999. It was later released in North America in August 1999 and in Europe in October 2000.

The original Monster Rancher game was re-released in Japan for iOS and Android devices in Japan on November 28, and for the Nintendo Switch console on December 19.

This first game was released for the PlayStation console in Japan in 1997. The game involves asking players to raise a variety of monsters to fight in tournaments, with the game deciding how each creature should be raised, which is subsequently determines your fighting abilities.
