The anime indefinitely suspended the broadcast of the fifth episode in April due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on production. Additionally, the release of the Blu-ray / DVD compilation volumes was also postponed from August 27 to November 26.
The first season premiered in January 2018 and had 17 episodes, while the spinoff anime IDOLiSH7 Vibrato premiered as a series of shorts in February 2018.
