The film Josee to Tora to Sakana-tachi reveals its first trailer

Through the official website for the film adaptation of the novels Josee to Tora to Sakana-tachi, which are written by Seiko Tanabe, the first promotional trailer for the film was revealed. Additionally, it was announced that this release will be released in theaters in Japan on December 25.

In the video you can hear the main theme of the film ‘Ao no Waltz’ performed by singer Eve.


Tanabe published the original novels as part of a collection of short stories in 1985. The work inspired a live-action film released in 2003. In addition, a manga adaptation has been published in Kadokawa publisher's Da Vinci magazine from the past February 6th.
