In a well-known Japanese comment forum, the recent controversy that exists in the West against the design of the character Hana Uzaki from the series Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! and the continuing campaign of hatred that has been generated because of it.

The publication that aroused the interest of the forum corresponds to one made by the Twitter user (@aobyjkjkkji), in which he represents the deuteragonist of the video game The Last Of Us 2, Abby Anderson hitting Uzaki. The message with which the image was shared states: "The Uzaki-chan controversy has spread abroad and the series has begun to be attacked by feminist groups and other associates, and a character from" The Last Of Us 2 " was immediately drawn hitting Uzaki. "When I saw her (Uzaki-chan) on television, I felt like doing this" and "She doesn't deserve to live" are some of the comments posted by these groups ".

Another of the groups' publications mention that the average incel (an English expression that means "involuntarily celibate" and that they use to denigrate people who, in their opinion, cannot have sex because of their physique or personality) fervently approve of the Uzaki-chan's design but they considered Abby Anderson's in The Last Of Us 2 unreal. In some responses to her post, the girl clarified that “I am small in stature with big breasts, and this embarrasses women with this body type ".
Quoting this post, a Japanese user wrote: “Second Chapter of Uzaki-chan against the Social Justices of the West, since that is the home of such people. There are almost 200,000 individuals who are furious against this character, in this tweet alone, and have signed anyone who defends her as 'Incel'.
Previously, this user had already reported on the "corrected" drawing of the character, noting that, although it was full of retweets and responses in the original post, most were on the side against rendering. Finally, it was concluded that the controversy aims to last for the rest of the anime's broadcast, and it is likely that it will even extend to other series, whether they are broadcast or not.
