It took only one episode for the animated adaptation of Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi (Redo of Healer) to become immensely popular in Japan. This was revealed through Twitter by Rui Tsukiyo, the author of the original light novels, where he commented on the performance of the first episode of the series. "The animated adaptation of "Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi", which premiered last Wednesday, has climbed to the second position of popularity on dAnime! I am very happy that so many people support the project! Thank you very much for your continued support of the Healing Hero," wrote the author.

As the published snapshot shows, just with the broadcast of its first episode the series already ranks second in the popularity of the Japanese streaming service, dAnime, behind the second season of Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu and ahead of the second season of Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken.
Another issue that the author also revealed and celebrated through Twitter, was the increase of positions in the DMM sales ranking that the manga adaptation has experienced. "Oh, the manga also got the first position in sales of the day, is that the effect of the anime adaptation? It's the first time I've witnessed it," wrote the author.

Finally, the author also commented on the second episode of the series, describing it as the point "where things will begin in earnest". "This is how the first episode ends! In the first episode we saw a friendly Keyaru-kun. But from the second episode on, the real development will begin, it will be horrible! So please look forward to it," the author wrote.
