SK8 the Infinity original anime reveals opening and ending

Different Twitter accounts shared the animated opening and closing sequences of the original anime by Hiroko Utsumi (Banana Fish, Free !, Free! Eternal Summer) and Bones studios, SK8 the Infinity. The opening sequence features the theme “Paradise” performed by Rude-α.

On the other hand, the closing sequence features the song “Infinity (イ ン フ ィ ニ テ ィ)” performed by Yuuri. 

Additionally, the distribution information for the Blu-ray / DVD compilation volumes was revealed on the project's official site, which also confirmed that the series will have a total of twelve episodes.


  1. Volume 1 (episodes 1 and 2) - March 24, 2021.
  2. Volume 2 (episodes 3 and 4) - April 28, 2021.
  3. Volume 3 (episodes 5 and 6) - May 26, 2021.
  4. Volume 4 (episodes 7 and 8) - June 23, 2021.
  5. Volume 5 (episodes 9 and 10) - July 28, 2021.
  6. Volume 6 (episodes 11 and 12) - August 25, 2021.


The series has been broadcast in Japan since January 9, while the Funimation platform will distribute it with Spanish and Portuguese subtitles in Mexico and Brazil. A manga adaptation by Toriyasu will debut through Young Ace Up! from Kadokawa publishing house on January 11 in Japan.


SK8 the Infinity Synopsis


The anime centers on Reki, a second-year high school student who loves to skateboard. One day, she he she is caught in "S", a dangerous skateboard race without rules that takes place in an abandoned mine. Ranga, who has returned to Japan after living for some time in Canada and has never skated before, also wraps in an “S” along with Reki. The plot will introduce us to different types of contestants in these races ranging from rookies, those who play dirty, and even skaters with artificial intelligence!
