Japanese
record company Marvelous officially announced the digital
release of the anime's new ending song You and Idol Precure♪. Titled "Kimi to Lurara", the
TV version can already be heard on streaming platforms, while the physical
CD will hit stores on August 27, 2025.
The second
closing song is in charge of the five protagonists: Cure Idol (Misato
Matsuoka), Cure Wink (Minami Takahashi), Cure
Kyun-Kyun (Natsumi Takamori), Cure Zukyoon (Yoshino
Nanjo) and Cure Kiss (Miharu Hanai). Additionally, the single will
include the opening theme song "Shiny Shiny IDOL," performed
by Chihaya Yoshitake alongside Machico, a
recurring vocalist in the franchise since Healin' Good Precure in
2020.
What's
special during ZukyoonKiss' debut event
Although
the new ending has not yet aired on Japanese television, the five Precures
first introduced it at ZukyoonKiss' debut event, held on June
29 at Tokyo's ARK Karajan Place. Precure's
official YouTube channel is currently streaming the full event,
available until July 12. The performance of "Kimi to
Lurara" can be seen from minute 28:00 of the video.
A
brilliant new chapter in the Precure saga
You and
Idol Precure♪ is the 22nd
installment in the long-running Precure franchise,
produced by Toei Animation. Its premiere took place on February
2, 2025 in Japan, and it is currently available on Crunchyroll for
users in the Americas, Oceania, and South Africa.

The story
follows Uta Sakura, a high school student who is passionate about
singing. Her life changes when she meets Purirun, a fairy whose
world has fallen into darkness after the invasion of the Chokkiri Gang.
Turned into Cure Idol, Uta embarks on a mission to bring light and
brightness back to everyone's hearts through the power of music.
