Amuse
Creative Studio has
confirmed that the popular webtoon Eleceed will receive an
anime adaptation that will premiere sometime in 2026. Production
will be handled by the renowned Dandelion Animation Studio, and key
details of the creative team have already been revealed.
A
production with prominent names in anime
The
direction will be in the hands of Hiroshi Nishikiori, known for his
work on titles such as IDOLiSH7, the Movie, LIVE, 4bit, BEYOND THE
PERIiOD and Honey Lemon Soda. The script will be
supervised by Yousuke Kuroda, head writer of My Hero
Academia, while Minami Sakura (Gridman Universe)
will be in charge of character design.
The
president of Dandelion Animation Studio, Kazuhiro Nishikawa, will
participate in the panel "Amuse Creative Studio Presents: How the
Pros Make Anime & Manga" during the Anime Expo,
on July 6 at 7:00 p.m. (Spanish time), where he will offer
exclusive sneak peeks on the development of the anime.

creator of Noblesse, expressed his excitement with these words:

part, the illustrator ZHENA shared a celebratory illustration

follows Jiwoo, a gentle young man with feline reflexes who uses his
skills to secretly help those around him. On the other hand, Kayden is
a secret agent who, after an accident, is trapped in the body of a...
well, a chubby, furry cat. Together, they join forces to fight
evil, as long as they manage to tolerate each other long enough to fulfill
their mission.

success of the webtoon
Since its
launch in 2018, Eleceed has been serialized in
more than 10 languages, including English, Spanish, French,
Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. With more than 1.42 billion views worldwide,
it remains one of the most read titles in NAVER WEBTOON's action
and battle lists in regions such as Asia, Europe, and North America.
