The Perfect Crime manga will have a spin-off in spring

On the official Twitter account for the manga written by Ririo and illustrated by Aya Tsukishima, Perfect Crime, it was announced that the work has launched its tenth and final compilation volume on January 16th in Japan. It was also revealed that the series will have a spin-off manga whose serialization will begin next spring.


Ririo and Tsukishima began publishing the manga through WWWave's Coolmic service in October 2016 and completed it in October 2020. The publisher published the tenth and final compilation volume on January 16 in Japan, which reported that the work had exceeded 1.7 million cumulative copies in circulation.


In fact, Perfect Crime is the adaptation of a web novel written by Ririo, and also inspired a ten-episode live-action series that was broadcast on television in Japan between January 20 and March 24, 2019.


Synopsis of Perfect Crime


Kaori works as a design planner for a housing construction company. She has had a secret affair with her house boss, Fuyuki, for several years. Although Kaori can't see a future with Fuyuki, she still loves him and continues their relationship. One day, Haruto, the young and attractive New York interior designer who just transferred, finds them in a compromising position. Later, Kaori and Haruto join forces to work on a new design project. Thus, when they meet Haruto, Kaori's destiny begins to change.
