On the official site for the next OVA project, Fate / Grand Carnival , the latest update to the project's promotional image was posted. The update added the following characters:
- Nobunaba Shimazaki como Edmond Dantès.
- Takahiro Sakurai as Merlin.
- Ayako Kawasumi as Artoria Pendragon (Lily).
- Miki Itou as Jaguar Man.
- Mai Kadowaki as Sitonai.
Fate / Grand Carnival is a sequel project to Carnival Phantasm , which has changed its name following the inclusion of Fate / Grand Order characters in the cast. The releases are scheduled on two Blu-ray / DVD packages that will include two episodes each for a total duration of thirty minutes. These two packages are listed as "seasons," with the first scheduled for June 2, and the second scheduled for August 25.
Carnival Phantasm Synopsis
How do you resolve a conflict between powerful spirits of famous heroes who compete for a prize capable of granting any wish? Fight a war that will cost blood, sweat, and tears? Too much work, how about a game show contest?
Carnivel Phantasm takes various characters from Type-Moon's original works and puts them in a variety of lighthearted settings that parody their respective series. Watch as Lancer suffers due to his lousy "Luck" stat, or watch the selfish King of Heroes gleefully kneel before a dominatrix King of Knights. Just remember to leave your sanity at the door before entering.
