A press release officially confirmed that the manga written and illustrated by Asato Mizu , Aharen-san wa Hakarenai Aharen Is Indecipherable ), will have an anime adaptation. The statement revealed the production team and voice cast for the project.

The series has its premiere scheduled for April 2022 in Japan. For his part, Mizu began publishing the manga through Shueisha publisher's Shonen Jump Plus digital service in January 2017. The publisher will publish the twelfth compiled volume on August 4 in Japan.

Sinopsis de Aharen-san wa Hakarenai

Queen Aharen, a cute little student with a quiet voice, is pretty bad at determining distance and personal space. Sometimes it is inches from your face, and other times, miles away. The only one trying to understand his antics is Raidou Matsuboshi, who sits next to him in class. He has a menacing face, but in reality he is a kind boy with an imagination that sometimes runs wild.

Aharen-san wa Hakarenai follows the quirky couple as their strange friendship begins to blossom as Raidou picks up Aharen's eraser for her. She misinterprets his gesture and now believes they are the best of friends, showing how the simplest of things can turn out to be the most complicated of challenges for them.
