Unnamed Memory Romance Novels Getting Anime

 A press release officially confirmed that the light novels written by Kuji Furumiya and illustrated by Chibi , Unnamed Memory , will get an anime adaptation. The statement revealed the voice cast, production details, and confirmed that the premiere is scheduled for sometime in 2023 in Japan.


Chibi , illustrator of the original light novels, shared a visual to commemorate the announcement.



Naoki Koshimizu , who is in charge of the manga adaptation, also shared a visual to celebrate the announcement.


Kuji Furumiya began publishing the story in 2008, and it was later published by the Shousetsuka ni Narou service in September 2012. It later began publication on paper through Kadokawa 's Dengeki no Shinbungei imprint from January 2019, and he finished it in April 2021 with six volumes. Additionally, a manga adaptation by Naoki Etsumi has been published through Kadokawa 's Dengeki Daioh magazine since September 2020.


Sinopsis of Unnamed Memory

"My wish as a champion is that you come down from the tower and be my wife." Climbing a deadly tower, Oscar seeks the power of his owner, the Witch of the Blue Moon. He hopes that her incredible magic can break a curse that will kill any woman he takes as his wife. However, when the prince sees how beautiful Tinasha is, she gets a better idea: since she surely is strong enough to survive her curse, she should marry him! Tinasha is not enthusiastic about the idea, but she agrees to live with Oscar in the royal castle for a year while she investigates the spell cast on the prince. However, the pretty face of the witch hides dark secrets of a lifetime, secrets that are beginning to resurface...
