Genshin Impact Hentai Artist Arrested in China

In a development that has rocked the Genshin Impact community , renowned 3D NSFW artist known as “ Shirakami ” has been arrested in China and faces a possible 10-year prison sentence. Shirakami, who had gained huge popularity on Twitter with more than 568,000 followers, was noted for his talent in creating explicit art based on the characters from the famous video game.

The news of his arrest has caused a stir on social networks, generating various speculations about the reasons behind this drastic measure. The NSFW content Shirakami produced is reportedly technically illegal in China. However, it does not appear that the arrest was carried out solely for the creation of such content, but rather for having made a profit through a crowdfunding platform known as Patreon .

According to reports, Shirakami would have registered his account on Patreon and, through this foreign platform, he obtained economic income related to his controversial art. Under Chinese law, those who produce, duplicate, publish, sell or disseminate pornographic materials for profit could face prison terms ranging from three years to even life imprisonment, depending on the seriousness of the case.

Shirakami's inactivity on social media since late last year had raised questions among his followers and the Genshin Impact community. Reports indicate that his Patreon account has not been updated since November 2022 and that her last post on his Twitter dates from December of the same year. Now, with the news of her arrest, some of her followers have expressed their concern and surprise at this situation.

Although there are conflicting versions and details still to be clarified, it has been confirmed that the Anyuan District police were responsible for the arrest. The language barrier and the recent nature of the event make the information available about the case limited, but more details are expected to emerge in the coming days.

The Genshin Impact community and the NSFW art world in general are attentive to future developments in this case, while the situation of the Chinese artist continues to be a matter of interest and debate on social networks.
