On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead it was announced that the final episodes (tenth to twelfth) finally have a scheduled air date after being delayed indefinitely. These episodes will premiere consecutively on television in Japan on December 25 , and although nothing is mentioned about broadcasting for the rest of the world, it was also confirmed that the final three episodes will arrive on Crunchyroll, Hulu and Netflix on the same date.

Let us remember that Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead had constant "supposedly scheduled" suspensions , which some believe were due to constant production problems within the BUG FILMS studios , whose recent creation prevented them from being able to produce a series of twelve episodes in time and shape. Due to the constant suspensions, when Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead reached its ninth episode, it no longer had time available on the television schedule to broadcast the rest of its episodes.

Finally, the production showed some preview frames for the tenth episode:

The series premiered during the Summer-2023 season (July-September) in Japan and is confirmed with a total of twelve episodes, while the services Crunchyroll, Hulu and Netflix are responsible for its distribution in the West. For their part, Haro Aso and Kotaro Takata began publishing the manga through the Sunday GX magazine from the Shogakukan publisher in October 2018.

Sinopsis of Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead

In a trash-filled apartment, 24-year-old Akira Tendou watches a zombie movie with lifeless, envious eyes. After spending three hard years in an exploitative company in Japan, his spirit is broken. He doesn't even have the courage to confess his feelings to Ohtori, his beautiful co-worker. Then, one morning, he bumps into his landlord at lunch—who turns out to be another tenant! The entire city is overrun with zombies, and even though he's running for his life, Akira has never felt so alive.
