Today,
November 7, Japan unofficially celebrates “ Good Abdomen Day (Ii
Onaka no Hi) ,” a holiday derived from the ingenious combination of
numbers that make up the date. This celebration is said to have been
established by the Tanakashi Dairy company , based on the
coincidence of the date “ 07/11 ”. The 11 becomes “ Ii
(いい) ”, which means “Good”, the
0 becomes “ O (お) ”, and the 7, which is
written “ Nana (なな) ”, simply take the first
syllable and they add “ Ka (か) ”,
forming “ Onaka (おななか) ”, which means “Abdomen”.
Originally,
the purpose of this day was for people to show off their abs and good health
achieved through yogurt “ Takashi Yogurt / Tummy GG! “. However,
the growing influence of anime culture has led to artists now sharing a variety
of sensual illustrations with this theme, usually accompanied by the
commemorative hashtag #いいいお腹の日.
The
abdomen has become an attractive element in women, almost on the same level as
the butt and breasts ,
and this day has become an occasion to celebrate the beauty of this part of the
body in a unique and creative way.
In honor
of “Good Abdomen Day,” numerous artists on social media have contributed
illustrations that celebrate the beauty and sensuality of the female
abdomen. These works of art capture attention with their elegance and
creativity, showcasing toned abs and smooth curves that reflect fitness and
health. The illustrations feature a wide range of styles, from
detailed realism to the charm of manga and anime art.
The
celebration of this day has become an opportunity to appreciate the diversity
of representations of the female body and promote a positive body image. Artists
share their creations on social media with the hashtag #いいいお腹の日, allowing other admirers of
beauty and art to join in the celebration.
