the manga “Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru (My Dress-Up Darling)”. Reader

Although it has had some criticism because the romantic development has been left aside, the “ Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru ( My Dress-Up Darling )” manga has kept fans attentive to the development of Marin Kitagawa's story and Wakana Gojo. The latest “ Heaven's Mandate Arc ” is nearing its conclusion, but the latest chapter ended up worrying readers because it ended on a rather sour note.
In this most recent arc, Marin Kitagawa decides to cosplay Haniel, the main character of a manga with a perfectionist author, a trend that ends up also affecting Gojo, who becomes obsessed with doing “a perfect job.” When the day of the event arrives, Marin has a scorching success over the entire crowd of people around her who are enchanted by her outfit and her personality.
After finishing the photo session, Marin is delighted with the results and wants to continue working this way with Gojo forever. However, she is approached by a woman trying to recruit her for Sparkle Productions, an agency for professional cosplayers. Although Marin is surprised by her offer, accepting it would mean parting ways with Gojo forever, since no agency would allow him to make the cosplay outfits. Desperate, Marin searches for Gojo in the crowd, only to find him and see him with a grim and dejected expression.
Even after the event, Marin and Gojo ride the train back home,
but without speaking to each other, which saddens Marin. When the train reaches its destination, Gojo gets off and leaves without saying goodbye, closing the chapter. What happened now? That's the question that has fans quite worried, precisely because it seems to be the first time that “Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru” gets into a romantic drama.
And of course, the opinions did not wait:
- « Oh
my god, that is the face of a man who has lost all hope .»
- « Gojo's
face says it all. "He doesn't want to share his wife with anyone else ."
- « Hmm,
surely this is just a little passing drama, right? It's not like we're
getting close to the end of the story... I can't handle that lost look on
Gojo's face, but Marin will tell him that she only loves him, right? ».
- « The
only reason I think he feels this way is because he “de-humanized” her
with this cosplay session. It's as if he now sees Marin Kitagawa as
another of the dolls that he paints, dresses and displays in his business.
And then he felt disgusted when he realized what he had been thinking all
this time .
- « I
think it has something to do with the author of Haniel, it's not that the
author thought that no one could cosplay her, but that he wanted to keep
the character only for himself, and now Gojo has realized that he wants to
keep Marin just for him. It's quite strange. Marin enjoys cosplaying and
Gojo enjoys making her outfits, but that's not his true passion .
- " It
is not right for a teenager to have such low self-esteem, I just want to
highlight that ."
- " I
don't understand anything. Does he feel hurt because he was pushed aside
or something? You never see the artist next to his art, what the hell did
he expect? If he wanted to make himself known, perhaps he should have
introduced himself to Marin from the beginning .
- « In
my opinion, he is upset by the many compliments that were given to Marin.
That only inflamed his insecurities. It's like when Grandpa said that Gojo
will never be satisfied with his work. But his obsession is also a poison
for himself .
- « Shit,
the story of Sono Bisque Doll moves so slowly that I'm already getting
tired .»
- " Gojo
can shine on his own, and although Marin can shine in modeling, she needs
Gojo to cosplay ."
- " I
feel like Marin is going to accept the offer because she will think that
doing so will lighten Gojo's workload, but then they will tell her that
the agency wanted her, not Gojo ."
- « I
think Gojo is starting to feel alone and feels like he is being pushed
aside. I think this event was what finally pushed him to realize this and
now he will probably lock himself in his room and not talk to Marin. Maybe
this is what they both need to finally establish their relationship, to
separate .
- « Gojo
is exhausted from cosplaying Haniel, but I feel like he has realized that
he opened the doors for Marin to professional cosplay and now knows that
he will be replaced, only future chapters will tell .»
- « Marin
also seemed tired of this cosplay, now we just have to see how Haniel's
creator will react when he discovers Marin. Hopefully, Gojo and Marin will
be recruited by the author, but that's just a guess ."
- « Gojo
has realized his feelings for Marin. If you re-read the previous chapters,
you will notice that Gojo regrets having made Marin so perfect, and feels
jealous of all the praise she receives .
