A press release announced that the light novels written by Rokuro Uraji and illustrated by Saburou , “ In a World Filled with Zombies, I'm the Only One They Won't Attack ( Zombie no Afureta Sekai de Ore dake ga Osowarenai )”, will have an anime adaptation that will be broadcast on AT-X in Japan. The latter is important because it is a story with adult material , especially violence and sexual content.

 

Rokuro Uraji began publishing the adult novels through the independent service Shousetsuka ni Narou in January 2013, and completed it in 2017. The publisher Frontier Works published the work in a total of three volumes with illustrations by Saburou between 2016 and 2017 Finally, a manga adaptation by Chihiro Masuda has been published since June 2021 through the Comic Ragchew service .

Sinopsis of In a World Filled with Zombies, I’m the Only One They Won’t Attack

Yuusuke is an office worker who doesn't like people and prefers to do his job alone and in silence. When the company he works for suddenly goes bankrupt, he loses his job and, with that, all of his motivation disappears and he becomes a complete shut-in. One of the few days that he decides to leave his apartment after a week of video game binge, a mysterious man attacks him and bites his arm. Although Yuusuke manages to escape to his room, he develops a fever and remains bedridden for several days.

When Yuusuke wakes up, recovered, he goes to resume his normal life, but soon discovers that in the short time he was asleep the world has completely changed. Zombies have appeared simultaneously in all corners of the world, and the few human survivors are now in hiding. However… “Why am I the only one not attacked by zombies?”
