Expectations for the Summer-2024 season (July-September) have only increased, and this has been demonstrated with the surprising start that the anime adaptation of “ Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian ” has had. This series was one of the most anticipated of this season, and interest has been evident since its first episode.

The romantic comedy starring the Russian-Japanese waifu and the boy who knows how to speak Russian but doesn't tell her has managed to attract attention for a variety of reasons. Although the story is completely cliché and predictable, the characters have managed to capture the attention of the Internet, making the two episodes broadcast to date go viral.

The second episode, broadcast this week, finally introduced Yuki Suou, the protagonist's childhood friend. Or at least that is the relationship they decided to pretend, since in reality the two are blood brothers who were separated because Masachika stayed with her father and Yuki with her mother (changing her last name in the process).
