During the recent Comiket event in Japan, renowned cosplayer Keekihime, who is also the person behind the popular VTuber Takanashi Kiara of Hololive Production , was attacked by a stalker . The incident, which has caused shock among attendees and the online community, occurred while Keekihime was participating in a photo shoot with her fans.

According to several witnesses and can be seen in the photographic evidence presented, a man suddenly appeared from behind a barricade and, before anyone could react, he lunged at Keekihime . A photographer present at the scene captured the exact moment of the attack, describing the situation as chaotic and alarming. “ At first, I thought it was someone she knew, but then I heard her desperate scream and we realized that she was being attacked ,” commented the photographer.

The assistants quickly intervened to separate the aggressor from the cosplayer. According to Keekihime, this individual has been stalking her for several years, even having attempted to kiss her at a previous event while he was declaring he wanted to marry her. The event staff was quick to assist Keekihime and understand what happened. Although at first there were doubts, they finally decided not to call the police at that time, fearing that the situation could affect the development of the event. However, photographs of the harasser were taken, which were reviewed by staff and it is expected that action will be taken accordingly. In the end, the subject escaped by mixing among the thousands of people who were in the facilities.

Despite the scare and being visibly affected, Keekihime decided to continue with the event after a short break . She displayed a professional attitude and continued to serve her fans, who had waited in line to see her. The incident has generated a wave of reactions on social media, with many showing concern for the safety of personalities from the world of cosplay and VTubers at public events .

Below are some comments from Japanese Internet users:

  • « She was in line to see Keekihime when suddenly a suspicious man (stalker?) pounced on her. It was so sudden that I couldn't react immediately… What a dangerous guy .'

This incident has once again highlighted the dangers that public figures face at mass events and has sparked debate about the safety measures that should be taken to protect content creators and cosplayers.
