A recent massive leak has claimed that production
on the anime adaptation of the video game “ Genshin Impact ” won’t be
finished (or perhaps even started) anytime soon. This would make sense
considering that Ufotable studios are currently working on the “ Kimetsu
no Yaiba ” and “ Touken Ranbu ”
franchises , producing upcoming film versions.
On the other hand, the original video game was
released in September 2020 for Android, iOS, PlayStation 4 and Windows, and was
released for more platforms at later dates. In September 2022, a
collaboration between HoYoverse and animation studios Ufotable was announced ,
with the aim of developing a speculated anime adaptation based on the video
game, accompanied by a conceptual trailer.
