Fujita ’s hit manga “ Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku ( Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii )” will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a commemorative exhibition taking place in Tokyo from March 11 to 24, 2025. This news comes alongside the unveiling of a new key illustration, made by the author herself, which shows the endearing protagonists , Narumi Momose and Hirotaka Nifuji, in a warm moment where their hands touch and their shoulders come together.

Fujita shared some words of gratitude towards fans: “ It feels like it’s been 10 years since I started drawing Wotakoi. What were you otakus 10 years ago, and what fandoms are you immersed in now? With much gratitude to all the otakus who have supported this story since then, I’ve really enjoyed drawing Wotakoi characters again. I hope we can meet again at Matsuya Ginza .”

The exhibition will be an opportunity for fans to relive some of the series’ most iconic moments through original manga pages, color illustrations, and audiovisual content. Additionally, as part of the celebrations, Fujita has created a new Wotakoi manga that will also be exclusively exhibited during the event. This will be a special treat for fans who have followed the series over the past decade.

Exclusive exhibition merchandise will also be available on-site, as well as a commemorative pamphlet that will compile details and art related to Wotakoi. Ticket sales information and other details will be announced soon on the event's official website and official Twitter account (@/wotakoi_ten).

Following its Tokyo run, the exhibition will also travel to Osaka in April 2025, allowing even more fans to enjoy this special experience. This anniversary marks a decade since Fujita began publishing the endearing otaku love story, which has won hearts around the world with its mix of humor, romance, and geek culture references. The exhibition promises to be an unforgettable tribute to celebrate this milestone alongside the fans who have made Wotakoi’s success possible.
