A press
release listed that the anime adaptation of Kanata Hoshi and Chika
Mizube ’s manga , “ Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! ( Akujiki Reijou to
Kyouketsu Koushaku ),” will be delaying its scheduled premiere
of Spring 2025 (April-June) to the Fall 2025 (October-December) period due to
production issues. The message did not go into details, and only
limited itself to apologizing to fans and assuring that the production is doing
everything possible to move the project forward.
For his
part, Kanata Hoshi began publishing the manga through Kodansha 's Palcy service
in March 2021, with art by Chika Mizube , where it is still in
serialization. Since the announcement of its anime adaptation, Taito
Ban and Kanna Nakamura were listed as the main
members of the voice cast, but nothing is known about the studio in charge.

Like any
self-respecting noble lady, one must have certain acquired tastes. Melphiera
Marchalrayd has a hankering for a rather exotic protein: monsters! But don’t
judge her. Despite its bad reputation, monster meat can be used in cooking, and
Melphiera is determined to change the kingdom’s opinion of her. Unfortunately,
ever since she came into society, Melphiera has had a hard time finding her
perfect match… until she meets the intrepid “Blood-Mad Duke” of Galbraith!
