" Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus " news ! As we previously mentioned here , the anime adaptation of
the " Seishun Buta Yarou ( Rascal Does Not
Dream ) " University Arc " is set to premiere
sometime in 2025 in Japan, and a first promotional trailer had already been
revealed.
Now,
during the AnimeJapan 2025 panel, a new trailer was released that not only
shows more details about the series, but also confirms the premiere date: July
2025. Additionally,
the trailer reveals the opening theme song, titled "Snowdrop" by
Conton Candy.
As for the
cast, two new members have been announced: Konomi Kohara as Sara Himeji
and Manaka Iwami as Miori Mitou , joining the already familiar cast
of Reina Ueda (Miniskirt Santa), Kaito Ishikawa (Sakuta
Azusagawa), and Asami Seto (Mai Sakurajima).
Production
remains under the direction of CloverWorks , with Souichi
Masui serving as director, Masahiro Yokotani as
series composer, Satomi Tamura as character designer, Yoshikazu
Iwanami as sound director, and Fox Capture Plan composing
the music. It's going to be worth the wait!
