A recent
leak has claimed that Jaku Amano 's manga " Adou " is getting an
anime adaptation. While the leak didn't reveal any production details
or a scheduled premiere date , it comes from an extremely reliable
source who has proven their leaks to be accurate in the past.
For his
part, Jaku Amano has been publishing the manga through Kodansha 's Monthly
Young Magazine since May 2019. This is the author's first serialized
work, which is quite interesting to see, considering that it's rare for an
author to get their first work adapted into an anime.
Synopsis
of Adou
Following
a wave of immigration, Japan has become a volatile mix of people and cultures,
rocked by protests from xenophobic extremists dissatisfied with the new order.
In the midst of one of these demonstrations, an impulsive young woman named
Riko, with unstable jobs, is riding her scooter when she sees a child about to
be run over by a truck. Just in time, she manages to push him out of danger
and, in the following hours, ends up taking in the boy, named Eito.
Riko
decides to take Eito out for a bowl of ramen, but just as they're about to
start eating, an army sniper opens fire on him from a distance. The bullet
pierces the restaurant window and heads straight for Eito, but before it
reaches him, vines emerge from his arm and stop it in midair. Who is this boy
really, and why is the army chasing him?
