The "Girls Band Cry" franchise, which remains one of the most beloved in the anime world, has released some news that will put its fans at ease. As you may recall, in a previous news story , the band Togenashi Togeari had to face some changes to its lineup due to health issues for Mirei and Natsu , who took an indefinite hiatus to recover.

Now, Girls Band Cry's official website has confirmed that Mirei and Natsu have returned to the studio to resume dialogue recording. While it's still unknown when (or if) they'll return to the stage for live performances, this development is an important step for fans. Meanwhile, Rina, Yuuri, and Shuri have continued band activities during their bandmates' absence. It seems things are looking up!

While we wait for more news about the franchise, be sure to check out the details below:

  • "Girls Band Cry" is an anime that follows a group of girls facing difficult personal situations. The protagonist drops out of high school in her second year and moves to Tokyo, where she works while dreaming of entering university. Another girl, betrayed by her friends, doesn't know what to do with her life, while a third, abandoned by her parents, struggles to survive working part-time jobs. Throughout their journey, these girls face a world that constantly disappoints them, but they still believe there is a place where they can belong, which leads them to band together and sing together.

  • The main cast of Girls Band Cry consists of the following voices: Rina as Nina Iseri ; Yuri as Momoka Kawaragi ; Mirei as Subaru Awa ; Natsu as Tomo Ebizuka ; and Shuri as Rupa .

  • The anime was directed by Kazuo Sakai (known for his work on Love Live! Sunshine!! and Mushi-Uta) at Toei Animation. The scripts were written by Jukki Hanada (also known for his work on Love Live! Sunshine!!). The character designs were done by Nari Teshima , and the CGI directors were Mari Kondo  and Jae Hoon Jung . The music was composed by Kenji Tamai (who worked on Sing "Yesterday" for Me and Samurai Flamenco), with Yuusuke Tanaka assisting in the musical arrangements.

  • The series began airing on April 5th of last year and consists of 13 episodes. The cast members also performed a concert as their fictional band, Togenashi Togeari, in March, and have held several concerts since then. They also plan to hold one at Tokyo's famous Nippon Budokan on September 23rd.

  • The first film in the franchise, " Seishun Kyousoukyoku (Rhapsody of Youth) ", which is part of a two-film compilation, will open on October 3. The second film, " Naa, Mirai. (Hey, Future.) ", will be released on November 14.
