Bandai
Namco Entertainment has
revealed the release of the third and fourth DLC for its Sword
Art Online: Fractured Daydream video game , adding characters long
awaited by fans of the series. The third DLC is available
since April 24 and introduces Sachi (as a
support character) and Philia (a rogue-type). Both come from
the Hollow Fragment and Aincrad arcs,
respectively.
The
fourth DLC already has a release date
The company
has also announced the fourth DLC, titled "Worlds Beyond IV:
Symphony of a Dazzling Dawn ," which will be available
starting September 30 at 10:00 AM (CET) . This expansion will
allow players to play as Mito and Alice (Cat Knight) ,
two key characters who will join the game's multidimensional conflict.
An
original story in a fragmented world
Fractured
Daydream takes
place in Alfheim Online , where a new system feature has
caused a glitch that links disparate timelines and worlds together. This
creates a chaotic reality where enemies become allies , deceased
characters return , and unlikely alliances are formed for
survival. The title allows for co-op raids for up to 20 players ,
making it an intense and strategic multiplayer experience.
Available
platforms and early access
Sword
Art Online: Fractured Daydream is available from October 4, 2024 worldwide
for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC
(Steam) . In Japan, the title was released on October 3 for consoles
and on October 4 for PC. Players who have purchased Character Pass Vol.
2 can immediately access the new characters included in both DLCs.
