Renowned
author Kanae Nakanishi , known for her work on Shojo
Null , will return with a new series titled Jikan no
Kamisama ( The God of Time ), which will debut
on Wednesday, May 22 through Shueisha 's Shonen
Jump+ digital service .

where time stands still
The
official website describes the work with the phrase, "In a world
where time has stopped, an unforgettable summer begins ,"
suggesting a narrative with emotional overtones and supernatural
elements. Nakanishi will be in charge of the script, while
illustrator Furo will be responsible for the art .

Jikan no
Kamisama marks
Nakanishi's first project following the closure of Shojo Null ,
a science fiction manga that ended in September 2024 after
publishing on the same platform since August 2023. The work
was also distributed in English by MANGA Plus , and VIZ
Media released the second volume on April 22 .
International
launch
Jikan no
Kamisama is
also expected to be available on MANGA Plus from its
premiere date, allowing Spanish and English-speaking readers to enjoy this new
offering simultaneously with Japan.
