An
unexpected return to the body of a final boss
The story
of A Wild Last Boss Appeared! takes us to the year 2800,
where Lufas Maphaahl, the Black-winged Tyrant and legendary
conqueror, mysteriously reappears. A man wakes up trapped in the body of
his Exgate Online MMO character, 200 years after she was
defeated in a player-created event.
But what
seemed like a simple game becomes reality, and now, with his legacy marked by
fear, he must travel this world in search of answers, allies and the monsters
that his "death" unleashed.
The series
combines action, drama, and classic elements of the isekai genre
with a powerful and complex protagonist. The official premiere is
scheduled for October 2025.
A
creative team with great experience
The
direction is in charge of Yūya Horiuchi (Nijiyon Animation),

with WOWMAX. Renowned screenwriter Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Girls'
Last Tour) oversees the scripts, while Maiko Ebisawa (Wonder
Egg Priority, Sword Art Online: Alicization) is in charge of
character design for animation.
Takashi
Kobayashi (Time
Travel Girl) and Shōta Ueno (Seirei Gensouki) also
star as supporting character designers.
The
confirmed cast includes Ami Koshimizu as Lufas
Maphaahl and Yuri Usui as Dina, who
spearhead this epic story of redemption and power.
