The Hero
Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills?! anime has revealed a new
promotional trailer and main visual image, in preparation
for its highly anticipated premiere in October 2025. The series
proposes a different vision of the fantasy genre, in a world where skills are
everything... except for its protagonist.
A
soundtrack with prominent names
The opening
theme titled "Reincarnation" will be performed by
artist Kaya, and can already be heard in the newly released
trailer. On the other hand, the group Utahime Dream All Stars will
be in charge of the ending with the song "Kiseki Nanka
Iranai".
Production
team and creative vision
The series
is directed by Kaoru Yabana under the animation of the A-CAT studio.
The series is composed by Chabo Higurashi, while character design
is in the hands of Takayuki Chiba and Xuewen Xu.
The original music will be composed by Kent Asahina.
What is
Hero Without a Class about?
Based on
the manga by Nanae Akio, published in English by One Peace
Books, the story follows Arel, son of the legendary
Sword Princess Farah and the Archmage Lion. In a world
where everyone gets a class and skills by the time they turn
ten, Arel discovers that he has nothing. No class, no skills... but with an
unbreakable will.
Far from
giving up, Arel decides to forge his own path through effort, cunning, and
tireless training, becoming a new kind of hero. A story of self-improvement
that challenges established systems and proves that, sometimes, determination
is the most powerful skill of all.
