The first
season was directed by Dai Fukuyama at OLM Studios.
The script was written by Shigeru Murakoshi (Ninja Kamui),
the character designs were done by Chikako Noma and the music

What is
"I Parry Everything" about?
Based on
the light novel written by Nabeshiki and illustrated by Kawaguchi,
and published in English by J-Novel Club, this story introduces us
to Noor, a young man who has spent more than a decade training in
complete solitude in the mountains. His goal is to become an adventurer,
although his only notable ability is the [Parry], which allows
him to deflect thousands of attacks with a single move.
As
the Kingdom of Clays faces a serious crisis following an
assassination attempt on its princess Lynneburg and other
neighboring countries prepare to take advantage of the situation, Noor enters
the scene completely oblivious to the conflict. With his naivety intact and his
determination proof of everything, he embarks on an adventure that will
unknowingly take him to the center of the events that will define the fate of
the continent.
The mix
between comedy, fantasy and a good dose of absurdly blocked battles has
made I Parry Everything one of the recent surprises of the
genre. The second season promises to take the skills (and innocence) of its
protagonist even further.
