With the
arrival of its premiere scheduled for October 2025, the anime
A Wild Last Boss Appeared! has released a new trailer that
includes a preview of its main theme. The opening song, titled "Level
wo Agete Butsuri de Naguru", is performed by the renowned rock
band Kishida Kyodan & The Akeboshi Rockets, also famous for
opening the anime Gate.
Creative
team and production
The
direction of the anime is in the hands of Yuya Horiuchi (NIJIYON
ANIMATION), with production by WAO World. The series is composed
by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Shangri-La Frontier), while the
character design is by Maiko Ebisawa. The soundtrack is created
by TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFT GREEN-FUND, KNOWN FOR THEIR WORK
ON Acro Trip.
What is
this story about?
Officially
published in English by J-Novel Club, the original light novel
features Lufas Maphaahl, the fearsome "Black-winged
Tyranny" and leader of the Twelve Celestial Stars, who returns in the year
2800. A man wakes up in the body of his female MMO character, two centuries
after his defeat during an in-game event Exgate Online. However,
this time it is not a game: it is reality.
With her
reign already over and a legend marked by fear, Lufas must
travel the world of Exgate in search of answers, allies and
face the threats that her "death" unleashed on that universe.
