Kodansha USA's K MANGA subscription service announced through its official account on X (formerly Twitter) that it has added to its English catalog the manga Solo Camping for Two by Yūdai Debata and Dekin no Mogura by Natsumi Eguchi. Both titles, in addition, are in the prelude to their respective anime adaptations, which will arrive this July.

Solo Camping for Two: camping together... But alone

Solo Camping for Two debuted in Kodansha's Evening magazine in 2018 and is currently serialized in Morning magazine. With more than 3 million copies in circulation, the manga reached its 20th volume on April 23.

The story follows Gen Kinokura, a 34-year-old man with a passion for solo camping, who enjoys being alone in nature. His routine is altered when he meets Shizuku Kusano, a 20-year-old young woman who is just starting out in the camp world. Unexpectedly, the two end up sharing a "solo camping" experience... together.

This manga was nominated for the 45th Kodansha Manga Awards in 2021 and has already inspired a live-action adaptation that aired from January 9. The anime version will premiere on July 10 at 6:30 p.m. (Spanish time) on Tokyo MX. It will then arrive on July 11 on BS Asahi and Nagasaki Culture Telecasting, and on July 15 on Yomiuri TV. Crunchyroll will stream the series simultaneously.

Dekin no Mogura: the strange is underground

Dekin no Mogura (also known as The Banned Mole or The Earthbound Mole) is the work of Natsumi Eguchi, creator of Hozuki's Coolheadedness. The series began in April 2021 in Kodansha's Morning magazine and is also published digitally on Comic Days. Its volume 9 was released on April 23, and volume 10 is scheduled for July 23.

The plot revolves around college students Magi and Yaeko, who witness a strange incident: a Kōjien dictionary falls on a man's head. Although the subject bleeds, he refuses to receive medical help or contact the police, generating concern. After this encounter, the protagonists begin to perceive increasingly strange and disturbing phenomena.

The anime adaptation, titled Dekin no Mogura: The Earthbound Mole, will premiere on July 7 at 3:00 p.m. (Spanish time) on Tokyo MX, and later that day on BS11Crunchyroll will also stream the series simultaneously.

K MANGA bets on content with anime projection

With these additions, K MANGA continues to consolidate its strategy of offering mangas with high popularity potential, especially those that coincide with their anime releases. English-speaking readers can now enjoy both stories on the platform, just in time for their animated debuts in July.
