Re-Kan! Manga will end on August 7 after more than a decade

Houbunsha's Manga Time magazine announced in its August issue that the manga Re-Kan!, the work of Hinako Seta, will end in the next issue that will come out on August 7, 2025. This latest issue will feature the magazine's main cover and an opening color page.


A story between the real world and the supernatural


Re-Kan! revolves around Hibiki Amami, a young woman capable of seeing ghosts and paranormal phenomena in her environment. The series narrates his daily life, intertwining moments with his friends and encounters with beings from the beyond.


The manga began as a one-shot in 2009 in the publication Manga Time Jumbo, and then became a regular series in 2010. Following the closure of Manga Time JumboRe-Kan! moved to Manga Time in March 2018. On January 7, 2025, the 15th compiled volume was released.


Animated adaptation and legacy that has been built


In 2015, Re-Kan! received a 13-episode television adaptation that premiered in Japan in April. While it was airing, Crunchyroll offered the series on streaming, and Sentai Filmworks licensed it for North America, distributing it on DVD and Blu-ray.
