The anime
adaptation of the multimedia project Utagoe ha Mille-Feuille,
focused on a cappella singing, has revealed three new
cast members ahead of its imminent premiere on Japanese television
on July 17 (local time).
New
voices that expand the cast
The newly
announced characters and their respective seiyuu are as follows:
- Sayaka Iguchi, voiced by Iori Saeki.
- Uta's mother, played by Mayumi
Shintani.
- Musubu's mother, voiced by Kaori
Nazuka.
Along with
this announcement, official illustrations of the characters
were shared, where Sayaka's casual design stands out, as well as the
distinctive appearances of both mothers, which bring a touch of realism and
warmth to the family environment of the series.
An
original project that is committed to harmony
Utagoe
ha Mille-Feuille is
an original project created by Pony Canyon in collaboration
with Takuya Yamanaka. The original character design is by Chierico.
The anime is produced by the Jumondou studio with Takuya
Sato as the lead director and Kiyoto Nakajima as the
director of the series. Takuya Yamanaka is also in charge of
the composition and script, while Chisato Kikunaga and Hitomi
Kaiho are in charge of character adaptation. The music is provided
by Shun Narita.
A choral
story with a very beautiful youthful soul
The plot
follows a group of high school girls who, through their
participation in the a cappella singing club, bond and grow
together while harmonizing their voices and emotions. This proposal combines
music, friendship and personal development in a narrative that promises to move
and motivate fans of musical anime.
