The
official accounts of the long-awaited anime The Invisible Man and His
Fiancée have revealed today their first teaser trailer,
where they also introduce the protagonists and the creative team of this
romantic comedy with supernatural overtones. The series will premiere in 2026.

and main characters
Yohei
Azakami, known for
his role as Ron in Ron Kamonohashi's Forbidden Deductions, lends
his voice to Akira Tonome, the invisible man in the story. For her
part, Yuka Nukui, who played Rion in Can a Boy-Girl
Friendship Survive?, gives life to Shizuka Yako, a blind woman
who, despite her disability, can perceive Tonome's invisible presence, which
complicates and enriches their relationship.
Creative
team and synopsis
The anime
is directed and written by Mitsuho Seta at the Project
No.9 studio. The character direction is by Kairi Unabara (Witch
Hat Atelier), while the music is by Ruka Kawada (Saint
Cecilia & Pastor Lawrence). The sound direction is led by Nozomi
Nakatani, and Yoishi Kadono oversees the design of the
costumes.
According
to publisher Seven Seas Entertainment, which publishes the official
English version of IWATOBINEKO's original manga, the story
follows Yakou Shizuka, a shy woman who works in a detective agency.
Her boss, Tonome, possesses the ability to become invisible, which makes her
job easier. However, Shizuka, who is blind, always knows when she is around.
Delighted, Tonome decides to conquer her using all his special abilities, while
Shizuka's peculiar office mates support her in her clumsy and tender love
affair.
